How to use Facebook to help the environment

The branch has been set up by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency to help monitor air quality, protect wildlife and protect natural resources and the environment, according the article.

Facebook’s environmental division has been tasked with a variety of tasks for Sweden, from ensuring the safety of its users, to ensuring the sustainability of Swedish water supplies, to monitoring the effects of climate change on the country.

As part of the social media monitoring program, the Environmental Protection Branch also has a “green card” policy, which allows people with a green card to use social media to spread information and create campaigns.
