Why I’m voting against NAFTA

AUSTIN, Texas — I am voting against the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), the 12-nation trade agreement that includes Mexico, Canada, Chile, Peru, New Zealand, Brunei Darussalam, Singapore, Vietnam and Brunei.

The TPP is the latest attempt by the U.S. to encroach on Mexico’s sovereignty and its economic clout in Asia.

Its critics say it could further undermine Mexico’s economic competitiveness and threaten the country’s territorial integrity.

In the U, I’m going to vote no because NAFTA is a bad deal.

I don’t think it’s good for Mexico, it’s bad for Mexico and I’m not going to support it.

The people of Texas know it.

That’s why they are supporting us.
