The video above, which was captured in June, shows an aerial rescue of a baby boy, who has a medical condition called microcephaly.
While he has no other symptoms, the little boy was in trouble as he lay in a pool of his own blood.
He was also critically injured and is now in a coma.
The baby boy’s mother, Maria, posted the video to her Instagram account to explain the importance of using a GoPro.
“I’m not going to get into the politics of it because it’s a good thing for the boy and his mom,” she wrote.
“But there is an opportunity to save lives by getting involved in the rescue.
My husband was doing a CPR job on the baby while he was in the hospital, and a bystander who witnessed the situation called 911. “
My son’s mom and I just found out the other day that the microcePHALY crisis was really impacting our lives.
My husband was doing a CPR job on the baby while he was in the hospital, and a bystander who witnessed the situation called 911.
We called the ambulance.
“A camera and a helmet, a GoPro and a baby’s life were not enough. “
When I saw the baby on the ground and the doctor’s face, I knew I needed to do something,” she continued.
I’m not saying it was perfect, because it wasnt. “
So I decided to make this video.
I’m not saying it was perfect, because it wasnt.
And I did.” “
The baby was in danger, so I thought I would make it to the rescue and get him out.
And I did.”
As the baby was being airlifted out of the pool, Maria continued to give him CPR, but then she realized her husband needed to help the baby.
“And I thought, ‘I know how to help a child when I’m helping my husband.
I know how,'” she said.
“Because the guy’s doing his job.
I didn’t want to just watch my husband save his baby.
I wanted to do my job and help.”
The video is a powerful message of hope for the lives of those in need, and it highlights how important the use of a camera can be in protecting children.
“Every day, thousands of people go to work with their lives in their hands.
The people of our city do not have time to think about their own lives.
So the people of Oakland are out there working.
It was a great way to be a hero,” Maria said.
The little boy, now a toddler, is doing well and is learning to walk, Maria said, and she has decided to continue to do her part in the world.
“We are a city of heroes,” she said, “and I’m going to do whatever I can to protect and serve our city.”
